Entrepreneurship Summer School (ESS) for Teens

Program Modules

  1. Entrepreneurial Mindset

Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Business Ideation, Business Modelling, developing a product or service, and creating marketing and sales strategies.

  • Basic Electronics

Basic electronic components – power sources, breadboard, jumper wires, resistors.

  • Mobile App Development

Programming, designing, & developing mobile app

  • Game Development

Computer games prototyping, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) design.

  • Leadership and Team Building through Sports

Developing team building and leadership skills through bonding and communication in the team environment.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, the student should be able to:

  • Understand the importance of STEM majors.
  • Understand and utilize the basic concepts that are used in effective problem solving.
  • Develop effective technology-driven projects to counter challenges.
  • Learn how to work in teams and collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
  • Understand and use technology-aided solutions.
  • Pursue Entrepreneurship and STEM as a career.
